1. How much weight should I expect to lose while on the Coco’s HCG diet?
Everyone’s body make up is a little different. Therefore some people will lose more and some people lose less. It averages around .5 to 2 pounds per day.  The typical weight loss reported to us by our clients who follow the protocol correctly has been 20 to 25 pounds for most women.  For men, it is more like 20 to 30.  But we have heard of some amazing results of many more pounds than this. Men tend lose more weight and at a faster rate, but women have great results as well.

2. How do I order Coco’s Products?
You can order them here, on our website, by clicking the store tab and choosing any of our products and adding them to your cart. You can also call (214) 272-9258 or, if you live in the Dallas area, you can visit our office at 1218 N. Bishop Avenue, Dallas, TX 75208 (across from Methodist Hospital). The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8 to 5 (lunch 12 to 1) and no appointment is required.

3. Why is Coco's Better than most alcohol based HCG products?
Coco’s Elite, which is our own proprietary blend, involves cutting edge processing and ingredient combinations that provide a very high level of concentration.  It has a glycerin base and includes an herbal appetite suppressant and an herbal blend that helps reduce cravings. We have been informed by our manufacturer it is 1000x stronger than most HCG drops that are on the market.

4. How long will it take for my drops to arrive once I order?
We always have HCG in stock. Normally when an order is placed the time it takes for HCG to arrive on your door step is 2-3 days (if you choose standard shipping). We use priority mail.  You can expedite that if you would like to do so. Your order will be mailed the next mail day after it is ordered.

5. Is the Coco’s HCG Diet Plan safe for men and women?
Yes, according to Dr. Simions study, it is safe for men and women. Men will typically show a faster loss. HCG is also used to treat a number of medical conditions in both males and females.

6. Who can use the HCG diet?
The treatment works for almost everyone, young, old, male, female.  But you should not use HCG if your BMI value is lower than 20.  Do NOT use HCG if you are pregnant or nursing. And we advise that you always check with your doctor before beginning any new weight loss program.

7. Is it healthy to lose weight so quickly?
While losing ½ to 2 pounds daily without the use of HCG would be unhealthy (as you would be losing muscle mass and the “good” fat), the HCG changes this. You lose the “bad” fat and the weight loss comes directly from that loss of fat so it does not strip the body.

8. How do you take the Coco’s HCG?
To take the Coco’s HCG you simply place the ten drops (or more if needed in second week, see directions) under your tongue.  It is best to count your drops in front of a mirror or have some one count them for you. Let them sit there for at least 15 to 30 seconds. Then, swallow whatever remains.  Do not eat or drink anything for 15 to 30 minutes after your drops.  Repeat this process three times a day.

9. Do I have to mix the Coco’s HCG drops when they get here?
No, the Coco’s HCG drops are premixed and ready to use.

10. What are the best foods to eat on my high fat, high calorie days?
Anything you want that is very high in fat and calories.  It can be deep fried or dripping in butter.  Have a little fun.  Eat all those bad foods you love with no guilt for two days.  Enjoy yourself!

11. Can I mix vegetables or add ones I know are healthy?
No! After spending twenty years researching and developing the diet, Dr. Simeons said to eat these specific ones and not to mix them.  He found this is what worked for the most effective weight loss.

12. What if I cheat during VLCD phase of the HCG diet?
If you cheat on the VLCD of the HCG diet, you may set yourself back up to three days.  Don’t give up and don’t do it again but get back on the diet and move forward.   But do understand you will not lose as quickly or as much if you cheat.  Remember your ultimate goal is to complete the program so you lose weight and reset your hypothalamus.

13. Will I keep the weight off?
After the HCG diet, most people find their appetites have decreased and their eating behavior dramatically changed.  Your body will, of course, have changed too providing incentive and the perfect opportunity to adopt that healthy life style to maintain your weight.  You will find a minimum amount of exercise will be sufficient for maintaining a very healthy body – try yoga, or 15 minutes of cardio a day, or whatever you enjoy that keeps your heart moving.  With your hypothalamus reset, your metabolism will be different and you will be able to eat a variety of foods moderately without feeling the need to overeat.

14. Should I go to my doctor before starting Coco’s HCG Diet Plan?
It is always a good idea to consult with your physician before starting any weight loss program, or life-style change, but it is more important if you have any serious medical history.  While we have had many, many participants do the HCG diet plan on their own with success; we are not medical doctors and cannot offer medical advice.

15. Can I still do the program if I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes?
As is true with any diet program, we advise consulting your physician first. We personally have seen remarkable results working with clients with a variety of medical conditions.

16. Why a 500 calorie diet?
HCG causes your hypothalamus to mobilize the fat out of the fat storage locations so that it’s available for use.  While you are only consuming 500 calories, your hypothalamus is continually releasing the fat stored in your body.  Your body is actually operating on thousands of calories a day.  The result is that your body is burning thousands of calories of FAT each day.  This is reason HCG dieters lose ½ to 2 pounds per day.

17. How can I possibly survive on a 500 calorie per day HCG diet and won’t that slow down my metabolism?
It is common to have mild hunger during the first few days as it takes a few days for the HCG to “kick in”.  However, this should pass by the 2nd week.  You will find even very tiny servings to be completely satisfying.  This is partly due to your hypothalamus adjusting your metabolic rate, but largely due to the amount of calories circulating in your system from fat being released.  Remember that HCG releases you fat stores.  You are not surviving on just 500, the other calories that you are using each day is coming from the fat that you don’t want. So (according to Dr. Simeons) your body is using the 500 calories from your food and 1500 to 3500 calories that the HCG is releasing from your “bad” fat deposits.  As a result, generally you don’t feel hungry, your metabolism does not slow down and you don’t feel tired and weak.  It is common for HCG dieters to feel as though they are stuffing themselves in order to reach the 500 calorie limit.

18. What is the hypothalamus gland?
The hypothalamus is a very important structure in your brain that controls a wide variety of processes throughout your body. Often called “The Brain’s Brain”, your hypothalamus gland moderates the thyroid, adrenals, fat storage, and more importantly, your metabolic rate.  In other words it tells your body when to burn or store fat, tells your body when to make you feel hungry, and much more. It is very important to have this gland functioning properly.

19. I am so full. Is it okay to skip meals on the HCG diet?
We do not recommend skipping meals. If you are so full that you absolutely cannot get the food down the first thing you should drop is a fruit.  Never drop your protein!  You need protein and without it your weight loss may slow, stall or you may even gain.

20. How long do the drops last?
The two ounce bottle should last between 26 to 30 days. If you have hit your target weight in this amount of time, you will only need one bottle.  If you have more than 20 to 30 pounds to lose, you may elect to continue for the maximum of 45 days. For that you will need two bottles and you will go approximately halfway through the second bottle.
For most people, the two ounce bottle is enough for a full round. However, some people often decide to increase their dosage at some point during the protocol for several reasons that are outlined in the protocol. These reasons include low energy, and excessive hunger/cravings, etc. If you decide to increase your drops for any of these reasons, you might need more drops.

21. How do I store the HCG drops?
Your opened drops will last six months unrefrigerated and a year in the refrigerator.  Once you start the protocol, the drops do not require refrigeration, but you do want to avoid extreme temperature changes once the bottle is open. Women may keep then in a purse, but they should not be left in the car.  If you are going to be storing open bottles of Coco’s HCG between rounds, you may want to store them in the refrigerator.

22. Why does this not have to be refrigerated?
This HCG does not have to be refrigerated because it is made in the homeopathic method and mixed with alcohol or glycerin as part of its liquid medium. The alcohol or glycerin acts as a preservative and keeps the HCG active and effective.  If you are not going to use an open bottle of HCG for several weeks, you should place the bottle in the refrigerator to hold potency over longer periods.

23. Do the Coco’s HCG diet drops have an expiration date?
Yes, it is three years. The expiration date is on the bottle, listed as month/year.

24. What is your return policy?
We offer a full money back guarantee on all unopened bottles.

25. Can I exercise on the HCG diet?
If you are currently exercising, feel free to continue. Be careful not to push yourself,  due to the lack of calorie reserves. If you encounter slow or ceased weight loss, discontinue or lighten on your regimen. Remember, exercise is not required to lose weight on the HCG diet.

26. Do I need to take supplements while on the protocol?
You DO NOT need to take any extra vitamins while on the HCG diet plan. Dr. Simeons allowed vitamin C, D, and calcium only when needed.  However if you do want to take vitamins, they must be taken in non-oily, non-capsule, pill forms with no other ingredients listed and no nutrition facts that include sugar, etc. It is not recommended to take Omega-3 during the VLCD period.  As we said previously, there are vitamins and minerals not only in the foods you eat but also in the fat your body is using so you are getting many vitamins and minerals.
Many people have heard that they need B12 while on the diet.  Vitamin B12 in homeopathic form, with no sugars, oils, etc. seems to allow steady weight loss in customers that used it.  Some say it increases energy, some say they couldn’t tell any difference.  But make sure it does not have other nutritional values like carbs, sugars, or chemicals.

27. What about an appetite suppressant?
Most people don’t seem to need one. However, our Coco’s Elite HCG does have an herbal appetite suppressant in the formula, and for those who experience a little more hunger than they like, we do offer an appetite suppressant that can be used in conjunction with your HCG program.  It may be ordered the same way as our HCG products.

28. Does it matter what time you take the HCG diet drops throughout the day?
Most people take the drops at breakfast, lunch, and dinner times.  This is a good reminder when to take them and it should be done 15 to 30 minutes before you eat.  But most importantly is to spread them out over the day so the concentration stays in your system fairly evenly.

29. Are there any side effects with HCG?
The most common side effects are positive including: quick weight loss, better, more relaxing sleep, less aches and pains, and an appetite for healthier foods after the completion of the program.  But on rare occasions some people have experienced mild headaches (as your body is detoxing from all the sugar and chemicals you eat and drink. You can take aspirin in pill-form, not the gel cap-form to help with this) or slight dizziness, usually in the first week.  But HCG has been used for weight loss for 50+ years so there is plenty of evidence to back up its safety.

30. Do I need to do the Pre-Diet Preparation?
No.  However, if you have 75 pounds or more to lose, you may find that the Pre-Diet Prep gives you additional tools for your success but it is not necessary and it was not part of Dr. Simeons’ protocol.

31. Is HCG FDA approved?
Coco's Elite is formulated and produced under the guidelines and oversight of the FDA 2007 cGMP's and compliance with the vibrational pharmacopia of the United States and efficacy.

32. Can I continue the program longer than 45days?
Please contact us for instructions on how to continue the program beyond 45 days.

33. Some people need to adjust their dosage of HCG while on injections, what about with these HCG drops?  Is it the same?
Yes. While we find that Dr. Simeons’ starting dosage is right for many people, some people find they need to take a few more drops per day if they are still hungry in the second week.   After starting on ten drops three times a day, if you are still experiencing significant hunger starting that second week, you may increase your drops to 11 drops three times a day or 12 drops three times a day.  Normally, that takes care of the hunger.

34. Will my birth control methods be affected by using HCG?
HCG will not interfere with any form of birth control.

35. I tested these HCG drops on a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Does that mean that it will no longer work?
No, this would be expected because it is a homeopathic formulation which requires a different testing method.  The reason is that homeopathy is based on both the physical ingredients and the resonance/frequencies that you cannot see.  These are not easily measured.  For this reason you need to be sure you are dealing with a reputable manufacturer and company.  Our manufacturer is in the U.S. and is a federally registered pharmaceutical laboratory in full compliance with FDA regulations governing pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
